Effect of Ultrasound-guided Lumbosacral Plexus Block Combined with General Anesthesia in Elderly Patients with Hip Fractures
Objective To investigate the effect of comprehensive and simultaneous ultrasound-guided lumbosacral plexus block on elderly patients with hip fractures. Methods A total of 90 elderly patients with hip fracture admitted to Gaoyou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into control group(general anesthesia)and observation group(ultrasound-guided lumbosacral plexus block)by random number table method with 45 cases in each group. The vital signs before and after operation, postoperative pain and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The mean arte-rial pressure(98.65±7.41)mmHg and heart rate(75.32±5.49)times/min in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The pain scores of the obser-vation groups at 3,6,and 12 and 24 hours after operation were lower than those in the control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(χ2=1.131,P>0.05).Conclusion The use of ultrasound-guided lumbosa-cral plexus block combined with general anesthesia in the operation of elderly patients with hip fractures can stabilize the patients'vital signs during the operation, reduce postoperative pain, and have high anesthesia safety.
