Clinical Value of Conventional Treatment Combined with Alveolar Lavage for Severe Pneumonia
Objective To study the value of conventional treatment combined with alveolar lavage for severe pneumo-nia.Methods A total of 82 patients with severe pneumonia admitted to Jiangnan University Affiliated Hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into the study group(41 cases,conventional treatment combined with alveolar lavage treatment)and the control group(41 cases,conventional treatment)using random number table method.The clinical efficacy,levels of inflammatory factors,levels of stress in-dicators,and indicators of alveolar oxygenation function between two groups were compared.Results The total effec-tive rate of treatment in the study group(95.12%)was higher than that in the control group(75.61%),and the differ-ence was statistically significant(χ2=6.248,P<0.05).The levels of procalcitonin,C-reactive protein,angiotensin I,an-giotensin Ⅱ,and cortisol in the study group after treatment were lower than those in the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the study group had higher oxygen partial pressure and lower carbon dioxide partial pressure after treatment,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of conventional treatment combined with alveolar lavage for severe pneumo-nia is better.
