Efficacy and Safety of Tiotropium Bromide Combined with Salmeterotica in the Treatment of Patients with Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstruc-tive Pulmonary Disease
Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of tiotropium bromide combined with salmeterotica in the treatment of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods A total of 92 patients with acute exacerbation of COPD admitted to Heze Municipal Hospital from July 2020 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects, and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group by random number table method with 46 cases each. The control group was simply inhaled tiotropium bromide, and the observa-tion group was treated with salmeterotica and tiotropium bromide. The therapeutic effect, inflammatory index, lung function and safety of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the control group after treat-ment was lower than that of the observation group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.039,P<0.05).The levels of various inflammatory factors in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.436,2.393,3.569,17.803,all P<0.05).The lung functions of observation group were better than thsoe of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.630,6.838,both P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reaction in control group(13.04%)was higher than that in observation group(2.17%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.866,P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with acute exacer-bation of COPD,tiotropium bromide combined with salmeterotica has a more significant therapeutic effect and higher safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
