Effect of Budesonide Aerosol Inhalation Combined with Erythromycin on the Efficacy and Symptom Improvement of Children with Mycoplasma Pneumonia
Objective To explore the value of budesonide combined with erythromycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP).Methods A total of one hundred and eight children with MPP admitted to Pukou Dis-trict Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Nanjing from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into control group and observation group with fifty-four cases in each group by random number table method. The control group was treated with erythromycin, and the observation group was treated with budesonide combined with erythromycin. The therapeutic effect, symptom improvement and hospitalization time, blood routine index and serum C-reactive protein level of two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate(96.30%)of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(85.19%),and the difference was statisti-cally significant(χ2=3.967,P<0.05).The time for symptom improvement and hospitalization, blood routine indicators, and serum C-reactive protein level in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Combined with budesonide aerosol inhalation on the basis of erythromycin injection can play a synergistic role and significantly improve the clinical symptoms of children. It can improve the clinical efficacy and reduce the impact of inflammatory factors on the body,so as to ensure the quality of prognosis.
