Application Value of HBP,IL-6 and PCT in Children with Sepsis
Objective To analyze the effect of combined detection of heparin binding protein(HBP),interleukin-6(IL-6)and procalcitonin(PCT)in the diagnosis of sepsis. Methods The clinal date of 64 children with sepsis(obser-vation group),40 children with non-infectious systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS)(non-sepsis group)and 40 healthy subjects(control group)admitted to Heze Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2020 to October 2023 were retrospectively selected. The children with sepsis in the observation group were divided into three groups according to the severity of the disease:group A was sepsis group(n=30),group B was severe sepsis group(n=20),group C was septic shock group(n=14).The differences of HBP,IL-6 and PCT levels in different groups were ana-lyzed.Results The levels of HBP,IL-6 and PCT in the observation group[(89.23±25.46)ng/mL,(112.16±38.45)pg/mL,(18.17±4.23)ng/mL]were significantly different from those in the non-sepsis group and the control group(all P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the levels of HBP,IL-6 and PCT among groups A,B and C(all P<0.05).Conclusion The abnormal expression of HBP,IL-6 and PCT in children with sepsis can provide scientific refer-ence for diagnosis and evaluation of children with sepsis.
