Effect of Different Dental Preparation Method in Prosthodontics
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of different dental preparation method in prosthodontics. Methods 80 patients undergoing prosthodontics in Guanyun County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Jiangsu Province from February 2021 to February 2024 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into the con-trol group and the observation group according to different dental preparation methods, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional dental preparation, and the observation group was treated with non-wrapped dental preparation.Repair success rate, complications, oral function, satisfaction with oral repair, and recur-rence rate between the two groups were compared. Results The repair success rate of the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than 80.00%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.114,P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in complication rate between the two groups(P>0.05).After repair, the masticatory function(85.69±9.72)points and speech function(92.35±11.26)points in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The oral re-pair satisfaction in the observation group was higher and the recurrence rate was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion In prosthodontics, the use of porcelain veneer incisor-edge non-wrapped dental preparation has a higher success rate, and can ensure good chewing and language function, low recurrence rate and patients have a higher satisfaction.
