Effect of Combination of Ropivacaine and Low Dose Esketamine on Partu-rients during Epidural Labor Analgesia
Objective To investigate the effect of combination of ropivacaine and low dose esketamine on parturients during epidural labor analgesia. Methods Clinical data of 160 parturients who received epidural labor analgesia in Xiaogan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January to December 2023 were retrospectively analysed and di-vided into two groups based on different analgesia methods, with eighty cases in each group. The traditional group re-ceived sufentanil+ropivacaine, and the exploratory group received low dose esketamine+ropivacaine.Anesthesia re-lated time, vital signs level and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The on-set time of anesthesia in the exploratory group(1.35±0.26)min was shorter than that in the traditional group(2.41±0.33)min,and the maintenance time of anesthesia(63.27±6.16)min was longer than that in the traditional group(57.25±5.12)min,and the differences were statistically significant(t=22.567,6.722,both P<0.05).Compared with the traditional group, the level of vital signs in the exploratory group was more stable, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the exploratory group was slightly higher than that in the traditional group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined application of ropivacaine and low-dose esketamine in epidural labor analgesia can significantly shorten the onset time of anesthe-sia,prolong the maintenance time of anesthesia, improve the stability of maternal vital signs, and do not increase the incidence of adverse reactions.
