Effectiveness of Dexmedetomidine Combined with Propofol Anesthesia Regimen in Elderly Patients Undergoing Painless Gastroenteroscopy
Objective To analyze the effects of dexmedetomidine+propofol on elderly painless gastroenteroscopy pa-tients.Methods 94 elderly patients received painless gastroenteroscopy in Panzhihua Central Hospital from August 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into two groups with 47 cases in each group according to the random number table method.Propofol was given to the control group and dexmedetomidine were added to the observation group. The anesthetic effect, awakening, hemodynamics, stress reaction, and adverse reaction were compared between the two groups. Results The Ramsay sedation score of the observation group was(4.35±0.67)points,which was higher than(3.94±0.51)points of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(t=3.338,P<0.05).The awakening situation of the observation group were better than those of the control group, the dif-ferences was statistically significant(P<0.05).The mean arterial pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation at the be-ginning of the examination(T1)and the end of the examination(T2)of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and norepinephrine, cortisol and epinephrine in the observation group at T2 were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant dif-ference in the adverse effects between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine combined with propofol was able to guarantee hemodynamic stability, reduce stress reaction, and promote awakening in elderly painless gastro-enteroscopy patients without serious adverse reactions.
