Evaluation and Analysis of the Accuracy of Routine Urine Tests in the Di-agnosis of Patients with Urinary Tract Infections
Objective To study and analyze the implementation effect and diagnostic accuracy of routine urine test in the diagnosis of urinary tract infection. Methods A total of 150 patients with suspected urinary tract infection admit-ted to Wenshang County People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects.Routine urine tests(including urine dry chemical method and urine sediment test)were performed.Quantitative bacte-rial culture was used as the gold standard for diagnosis of urinary tract infection, and the role of single test and com-bined test in diagnosis of the disease was compared. Results Quantitative bacterial culture was used as the gold stan-dard for the diagnosis of urinary tract infection.Compared with single test, the detection rate of urinary tract infection was higher in combined test, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The accuracy and sensitiv-ity of the combined test were 98.00%and 98.27%,respectively,which were higher than 82.00%and 77.59%of urine dry chemical method and 68.00%and 60.34%of urine sediment test method, and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(χ2=33.346,23.395,47.838,50.855,all P<0.05).Conclusion The combined urine routine test is of high diag-nostic value for urinary tract infection.
