Effects of Two Kinds of Resection on Perioperative Indexes and Complica-tions in Children with Tonsil Hypertrophy and Adenoid Hypertrophy
Objective To investigate the effects of two kinds of resection on perioperative indexes and complications in children with tonsil hypertrophy and adenoid hypertrophy. Methods Ninety children with tonssillion-adenoid hyper-plasia admitted to Funing County People's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2020 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups by random number table method. The control group(n=45)underwent traditional operation, and the observation group(n=45)underwent plasma resection.Perioperative indexes, pain score, ventilation function and complication rate of the two groups were compared. Results The operation time of the observation group was(43.81±6.20)min,the amount of blood loss was(18.91±4.45)mL,the incision healing time was(4.33±1.28)d,and the length of hospital stay was(6.27±1.05)d,which were all better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=12.102,14.922,8.021,5.644,all P<0.05).The postoperative pain scores of the obser-vation group were lower than those of the control group at all times, and the postoperative oxygen loss index,respira-tory disorder index and apnea time were better than those of the control group, and the total complication rate was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Plasma resection can improve perioperative indexes in children with tonsillar-adenoid hypertrophy, with mild postoperative pain, improved ventilation function and low risk of complications.
