Effect of Adjunct Treatment with Adenosine Monophosphate on Compli-ance and Efficacy of Children with Hand,Foot and Mouth Disease
Objective To study the effect of adenosine monophosphate on the compliance and efficacy of children with hand, foot and mouth disease. Methods A total of 62 children diagnosed with hand-foot-mouth disease in Caoxian County People's Hospital from August 2019 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects and divided into two groups according to the random number table method, with 31 cases in each group. The control group received routine symptomatic treatment, and the observation group was treated with vidarabine monophosphate based on the treatment conditions of the control group. The efficacy,hand-foot-mouth symptom control time, hospitalization time, body in-flammation index and drug safety of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.77%,which was higher than the control group's 74.19%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.679,P<0.05).The control of symptoms(fever, stomatitis, and rash)and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the C-reactive protein and white blood cell count in the observation group were lower than those in the con-trol group, and the difference was statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no statistically significant differ-ence in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of drugs(9.68%vs 3.23%)(P>0.05).Conclusion The adjuvant treatment of adenosine monophosphate in children with hand, foot and mouth disease is effective, which can accelerate the relief of symptoms, promote the clearance of inflammation in children, and accelerate their recovery and discharge, which is safe and reliable.
