Study on the Value of Compound Lactobacillus Acidophilus Combined with Zinc Supplementation Therapy in the Application of Pediatric Diar-rhea
Objective To analyze the value of compound Lactobacillus acidophilus combined with zinc supplementa-tion therapy applied to pediatric diarrhea.Methods 80 children with diarrhea treated in Shanghe County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to November 2022 were selected as the study objects.They were di-vided into two groups with 40 cases each.The control group was treated with compound Lactobacillus acidophilus,and the observation group was treated with zinc gluconate.The clinical efficacy,immune function,blood zinc,symptom im-provement time and serum nutrition indexes were compared between the two groups.Results The clinical total effec-tive rate of the observation group was 97.50%,higher than that of the control group 80.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.507,P=0.034).After treatment,the levels of immunoglobulin A,immunoglobulin G,im-munoglobulin M and blood zinc in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The duration of symptom remission and hospitalization in the observa-tion group were shorter than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The levels of albumin and hemoglobin in observation group were higher than those in control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The application of compound Lactobacillus acidophilus combined with zinc supplementation for pediatric diarrhea can effectively improve the therapeutic effect of the chil-dren and help the early improvement of the symptoms,as well as enhance the immune function and correct malnutri-tion.
