Study on Ondansetron Reducing Analgesia,Nausea and Vomiting after Ce-sarean Section and Improving Quality of Life
Objective To explore the effect of ondansetron on reducing analgesia,nausea and vomiting and improving quality of life after cesarean section.Methods Retrospectively selected clinical data of 100 cases of cesarean delivery admitted to Guidong People's Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from January 2022 to June 2023,and they were divided into two groups,according to the use of antiemetic drugs.There were 65 cases in group A(ondan-setron 4 mg+dexamethasone 5 mg)and 35 cases in group B(dexamethasone 5 mg).The incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting,comfort score and quality of life score were compared between the two groups.Results The inci-dence of postoperative nausea and vomiting in group A was 6.15%,significantly lower than 22.86%in group B,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=11.398,P<0.05).The comfort score and quality of life score of group A were significantly higher than those of group B,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Con-clusion Preventive use of ondansetron can effectively prevent the occurrence of analgesia,nausea and vomiting after cesarean section,and help to improve the comfort and quality of life of patients.
