Pharmacologic Effect of Oxycodone Hydrochloride Sustained-release Tab-lets in the Treatment of Advanced Cancer Pain
Objective To investigate the pharmacologic effect of oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets in the treatment of advanced cancer pain. Methods A total of 156 patients with advanced cancer pain admitted to Boai Hospital in Rugao from August 2020 to July 2023 were selected as observation objects. The patients were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 78 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets, while the control group was treated with morphine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets. The pain relief, drug use related indexes and the occurrence of ad-verse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference between observa-tion group and control group in cancer pain relief efficiency(P>0.05).The stable time of pain control, the number of pain outbreaks and the use of relief drugs in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group(7.69%)was lower than that in control group(19.23%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.457,P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with advanced cancer pain, oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets are intro-duced as analgesic measures, which have remarkable efficacy, stable analgesia, rapid effect and few adverse reactions, and are worthy of clinical application.
