Value of Anti-thyroglobulin Antibody and Anti-thyroid Peroxidase Anti-body in the Diagnosis of Thyroid Dysfunction
Objective To investigate the value of anti-thyroglobulin antibodies(TgAb)and anti-thyroid peroxidase antibodies(TPOAb)in the diagnosis of thyroid dysfunction. Methods Clinical data of patients with thyroid dysfunc-tion(50 cases, observation group)and normal thyroid function(50 cases, control group)diagnosed in Guanyun County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Jiangsu Province from January 2021 to May 2023 were retrospec-tively selected. The levels of TgAb and TPOAb in the two groups were detected and the diagnostic value was ana-lyzed.Results The levels of TgAb and TPOAb in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group, the differences were statistical significance(all P<0.05).The levels of TgAb and TPOAb in Hashimoto's group were higher than those in the other 3 groups, and those in Graves'group were higher than those in hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism group, and those in hyperthyroidism group were higher than those in hypothyroidism group, the differences were statistical significance(all P<0.05).The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the com-bined test were 98.00%,96.00%and 97.00%,which were higher than the diagnostic efficacy of the two antibody tests alone(all P<0.05).Conclusion TgAb combined with TPOAb test has high applied value in the diagnosis of thy-roid dysfunction, and can be used to distinguish different types of thyroid diseases.
