Clinical Efficacy of 23G Vitrectomy Combined with Silicone Oil Filling in the Treatment of Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy
Objective To analyze the effect of 23G vitrectomy combined with silicone oil filling on proliferative dia-betic retinopathy(PDR).Methods A total of 120 patients(120 eyes)with PDR admitted to Dafeng People's Hospital of Yancheng City from January 2016 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into two groups with 60 cases each by random drawing method. The control group underwent 23G vitrectomy, and the observation group underwent 23G vitrectomy combined with silicone oil filling. The changes of visual acuity, intraocular pressure and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results After operation, the average visual acuity of observation group was(1.97±0.15)LogMAR,which was higher than that of control group(1.32±0.13)Log-MAR,and the difference was statistically significant(t=25.365,P<0.05).At 1 d,7 d,1 month and 3 months after op-eration,the IOP in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05),the magnitude of IOP mounts was smoother in the observation group than in the control group. The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).Conclusion 23G vitrectomy plus silicone oil filling can improve visual acuity in patients with PDR,but there is a risk of complications and attention needs to be paid to changes in intraocular pressure during treatment.
