Clinical Safety of Minimally Invasive Treatment of Basal Ganglia Cerebral Hemorrhage Versus Craniotomy Application in Patients with Hypertensive Cerebral Hemorrhage
Objective To analyze the safety of minimally invasive treatment of basal ganglia cerebral hemorrhage ver-sus craniotomy in hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage. Methods The clinical data of 80 hypertensive cerebral hemor-rhage patients admitted to Jinan Jiyang District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2021 to Sep-tember 2023 were retrospectively selected. They were divided into craniotomy group and minimally invasive group by surgical method, with 40 cases each. The former group underwent craniotomy, and the latter group underwent mini-mally invasive treatment for basal ganglia cerebral hemorrhage. The recovery and clinical safety of the two groups were compared. Results The operation time, incision length and discharge time of minimally invasive group were shorter than that of craniotomy group, the area of cranial defect was smaller than that of craniotomy group, and the drainage time was longer than those of craniotomy group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After surgery, the ability to perform activities of daily living score was higher in the minimally invasive group than that in the craniotomy group, and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score was lower than in the craniotomy group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The complication rate was 2.50%in the minimally invasive group was lower than 20.00%in the craniotomy group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.507,P=0.034).Conclusion Basal ganglia cerebral hemorrhage minimally invasive treatment is safe, can prevent various surgi-cal complications, shorten the recovery time of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, and improve self-care ability.
