Study on the Effect of Atorvastatin Combined with Metoprolol in the Treatment of Coronary Heart Disease Combined with Heart Failure in El-derly People
Objective To evaluate the feasibility of atorvastatin combined with metoprolol in the treatment of elderly patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure. Methods A total of sixty-six elderly patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure admitted to Baise People's Hospital from February 2023 to February 2024 were se-lected as the research objects. They were divided into two groups by dice method. The control group(n=33)was treated with single drug, and the observation group(n=33)was treated with combined drug. The therapeutic effects, and the level of plasma factor, blood lipid and cardiac function indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The total therapeutic effective rate of the observation group(93.93%)was higher than that of the control group(75.75%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.243,P=0.039).After treatment, the level of plasma factor, the lev-els of plasma factors, blood lipids and cardiac function indexes in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Atorvastatin combined with metoprolol can help to improve the plasma factors, blood lipids and cardiac function of elderly patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure, and can improve the therapeutic effect of patients.
