Effect of Single-aperture Thoracoscopic Treatment of Bronchiectasis
Objective To study the effect of single-aperture thoracoscope in the treatment of bronchiectasis. Methods A total of fifty-six patients with bronchiectasis admitted to the Department of Thoracic Surgery of Jiaozhou Central Hospital of Qingdao from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects and divided into two groups with twenty-eight cases each according to the dice method. The comparison group was treated with traditional thora-cotomy,and the treatment group was treated with single-aperture thoracoscope. The pulmonary function index,symp-tom score, time index, treatment effectiveness and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the pulmonary function indexes in the treatment group were higher than those in the comparison group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Symptom scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the comparison group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Each time index of the treatment group was shorter than that of the comparison group, and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).The therapeutic effectiveness of the treatment group was 96.43%,higher than that of the comparison group 75.00%,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.250,P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the treat-ment group was lower than that in the comparison group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Con-clusion Single-aperture thoracoscopic treatment can improve lung function and relieve cough symptoms in patients with bronchiectasis. At the same time,it can also improve treatment effectiveness, reduce complications and shorten hospital stay.
