Clinical Value of Artificial Femoral Head Replacement in the Treatment of Femoral Neck Fracture in the Elderly
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of artificial femoral head replacement in elderly patients with femoral neck fracture. Methods A total of sixty elderly patients with femoral neck fracture who received treatment in the Boxing County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Shandong Province from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and observation group according to random drawing method, with thirty cases in each group. The control group was treated with total hip replacement, and the ob-servation group was treated with artificial femoral head replacement. The clinical efficacy, operative indexes and hip function of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the operation time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter, and the intraoperative blood loss and postoperative drainage volume were less, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of observation group was 93.33%,which was higher than that of control group(73.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.320,P=0.038).The hip function score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the dif-ference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For the elderly patients with femoral neck fracture, artificial femoral head replacement can reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss and shorten the hospital stay, and the therapeutic effect is good, which is worthy of clinical reference.
