Efficacy of Jianpi Yangfei Decoction in the Treatment of Severe Pneumo-nia and Its Effect on Patients'Blood Gas Indexes and Inflammatory Fac-tors
Objective To investigate the role of application of Jianpi Yangfei decoction in the treatment of patients with severe pneumonia.Methods A total of 78 patients with severe pneumonia admitted to Linyi Hospital of Tradi-tional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected for the study.They were divided into study group and reference group,each with 39 cases by blind touch bicolor method.The reference group was treated with conventional western medicine,while the study group was treated with Jianpi Yangfei decoction.The treatment ef-fect,clinical symptom improvement,blood gas index and inflammatory factor level of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 94.87%,higher than that of 76.92%in the refer-ence group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.186,P＜0.05).The time for improvement of clinical symptoms(fever,cough,chest pain and lung wet rales)in the study group were less than that in the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).Before intervention,there was no statistically significant difference in blood gas indexes between the two groups(all P＞0.05).After intervention,blood oxygen saturation and ar-terial oxygen partial pressure levels in the study group were higher than those in the reference group,and arterial car-bon dioxide partial pressure levels were lower than those in the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).Before intervention,there was no statistically significant difference in the levels of inflamma-tory factors between the two groups(all P＞0.05).After the intervention,the levels of interleukin-6,tumor necrosis fac-tor-α and white blood cell count in the study group were lower than those in the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).Conclusion Jianpi Yangfei decoction can improve the therapeutic effect of patients with severe pneumonia,shorten the time of symptom improvement,improve the blood gas index,and reduce the level of inflammatory factors.
