Study on the Effect of Enteral Nutritional Support on the Nutritional Sta-tus of Esophageal Cancer Radiotherapy Patients
Objective To study the effects of enteral nutritional support on the nutritional status of esophageal cancer radiotherapy patients. Methods 80 cases of esophageal cancer radiotherapy patients admitted to Tai'an Cancer Pre-vention and Control Hospital from February 2021 to May 2023 were purposefully selected as the study objects, and were divided into two groups of 40 cases each by different ways of intervention. The reference group was given con-ventional dietary intervention, and the study group reasonably developed nutritional support on the basis of the refer-ence group. The nutritional indexes of patients in the two groups were compared. Results Before the intervention, the differences between the nutritional indicators of the two groups were not statistically significant(all P>0.05).After the intervention, total serum protein(66.13±0.25)g/L,hemoglobin(119.13±13.25)g/L,pre-serum protein(207.35±4.25)mg/L,serum protein(36.03±3.02)g/L,and body mass(61.85±1.02)kg in the study group were higher than those in the reference group(62.13±1.02)g/L,(100.13±12.85)g/L,(180.02±4.79)mg/L,(32.45±3.25)g/L,and(58.03±0.59)kg in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=24.089,6.510,26.992,5.103,20.503,all P<0.05).Conclusion Enteral nutritional support given to patients with esophageal cancer radio-therapy can better improve the nutritional status of patients.
