The Application Value of Atorvastatin in the Treatment of Hypertensive Patients Over 60 Years Old
Objective To analyze the application value of atorvastatin in the treatment of hypertensive patients over 60 years old.Methods The clinical data of 80 hypertensive patients admitted to Foshan Sanshui District Maternal and Child Health Hospital from February 2022 to February 2024 were retrospectively selected and were divided into refer-ence group(treated with amlodipine benzenesulfonate tablets)and study group(treated with atorvastatin calcium tab-lets on the basis of the reference group)with different treatment protocols,with 40 cases in each group,to compare the treatment effects of the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group(97.50%)was higher than that in the reference group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.507,P<0.05).After treatment,the blood pressure level,lipid level,and inflammatory factor level of the study group were better than that of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of atorvastatin in the treatment of hypertensive patients over 60 years old is exact.
