Exploring the Application Value of FT3,FT4,TSH,T3,T4 Detection in Thyroid Function Evaluation
Objective To explore the value of combined detection of five indicators of thyroid function in thyroid func-tion assessment.Methods 90 patients with thyroid dysfunction,including 45 patients with hyperthyroidism and 45 pa-tients with hypothyroidism,were purposely selected from Linyi People's Hospital from December 2021 to December 2022.They were divided into hyperthyroidism group and hypothyroidism group,respectively.45 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations during the same period were selected as the healthy control group.The levels of triiodothyronine(T3),free thyroxine(FT4),free triiodothyronine(FT3),thyroid hormone(T4),and thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)in each group were detected and compared.Results The detection levels of T3,FT3,FT4,and T4 of thyroid hormones in the healthy control group were lower than those in the hyperthyroidism group and higher than those in the hypothyroidism group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The detection levels of TSH of thyroid hormones in the healthy control group was higher than that in the hyperthyroidism group and lower than that in the hypothyroidism group,the differencs were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was a negative correlation between TSH and the severity of hyperthyroidism,vlule triiodothyronine(T3),free thyroxine(FT4),free tri-iodothyronine(FT3),and thyroid hormone(T4)showing a positive correlation(all P<0.05).There was a positive corre-lation between TSH and the severity of hypothyroidism,while T3,FT3,FT4,and T4 are negatively correlated(r=0.648,-0.637,-0.449,-0.417,-0.408,all P<0.05).Conclusion The detection of FT3,FT4,TSH,T3,and T4 has cer-tain application value in evaluating the condition of patients with thyroid dysfunction.
