Exploring the Value of Budesonide Nebulization and Terbutaline Com-bined with Azithromycin in the Treatment of Pediatric Pneumonia
Objective To explore the value of budesonide nebulization and terbutaline combined with azithromycin in the treatment of pediatric pneumonia. Methods 60 children diagnosed with pediatric pneumonia in the Department of Pediatrics of Funing County People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study ob-jects purposively, and were divided into a control group and an observation group based on the different treatment method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with azithromycin, and the observation group was treated with budesonide and terbutaline combined with azithromycin, comparing the lung function, treatment effi-ciency,incidence of adverse reactions, and disappearance time of clinical symptoms between the two groups. Results The lung function indexes of the observation group were better than those of the control group after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group(100.00%)was higher than that in the control group(76.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.822,P=0.016).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the disappearance time of clinical symptoms was shorter than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of budesonide and terbutaline combined with azithromycin treatment program for children with pediatric pneumonia can effectively improve clinical symptoms,regu-late lung function, and improve the treatment efficiency.
