Analyzing the Effect of Epinephrine Nebulized Inhalation and Budesonide Suspension for Inhalation in the Treatment of Emergency Pediatric Laryn-gitis
Objective To analyze the effect of epinephrine nebulized inhalation and budesonide suspension for inhala-tion in the treatment of pediatric acute laryngitis.Methods Eighty-four children with pediatric acute laryngitis hospi-talized in the Department of Pediatrics of Yongzhou Central Hospital from January 2019 to December 2023 were se-lected as the study objects purposively.The patients were divided into two groups by different treatment method,with 42 cases in each group.All of them were given basic treatment,the control group was given budesonide suspension nebulized inhalation treatment,and the observation group was given budesonide suspension combined with epineph-rine nebulized inhalation treatment.Compare the efficacy and treatment time of the two groups.Results The total ef-fective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The disappearance time of hoarseness(13.56±1.58)h,barking cough(12.74±1.41)h,laryngeal tinnitus(8.35±1.16)h,and inspiratory triple concavity sign(2.08±0.87)h in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=11.239,15.706,13.270,22.134,all P<0.05).Conclusion Treatment by nebulized inhalation of epinephrine with inhalation budesonide suspen-sion can exert anti-inflammatory effects in a short period of time,improve the swelling and spasm of the respiratory tract,and enhance the therapeutic effect.
