Effect of Carboprost Tromethamine Injection Combined with Balloon Tamponade on Hemorrhage after Caesarean Section of Placenta Previa
Objective To explore and analyze the effect of carboprost tromethamine injection combined with balloon tamponade on postpartum hemorrhage of placenta previa cesarean section.Methods A total of 80 patients with post-partum hemorrhage after placenta previa cesarean section treated in Linqu County People's Hospital of Weifang City,Shandong Province from March 2020 to August 2022 were selected as the study objects purposively,and were divided into two groups with 40 cases in each group according to different treatment method.The control group was treated with oxytocin combined with carboprost tromethamine injection,and the observation group was treated with balloon tamponade.The clinical efficacy,operation time,first menstrual time,white blood cell count,serum C-reactive pro-tein,blood loss,hospital stay,blood transfusion rate and hysterectomy rate were compared between the two groups.Results The total clinical effective rate of observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than that of control group(77.50%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.165,P<0.05).Operation time,first menstrual time,white blood cell count,serum C-reactive protein level,intraoperative blood loss,2 h postpartum blood loss,24 h post-partum blood loss and hospital stay in the observation group were better than those in the control group,the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Carboprost tromethamine injection combined with balloon tamponade in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage of placenta previa cesarean section can obtain better clinical ef-ficacy,better performance of perioperative indicators,and reduce the blood transfusion rate and hysterectomy rate,so as to obtain better prognosis.
