Effect of Self-locking Bracket Correction's Class Ⅱ 1 Classification Maloc-clusion on VAS Score and Comfort Level of Patients
Objective To analyze the effects of self-locking bracket class Ⅱ 1 classification malocclusion on Visual Analogue Score(VAS)and comfort level of patients. Methods Clinical data of 60 patients with Class Ⅱ 1 classifica-tion malocclusion admitted to the Stomatology Department of Panzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2021 to April 2023 were retrospectively selected, and divided into observation group(30 cases,self-locking bracket correction)and control group(30 cases, traditional metal bracket correction)according to different treatment methods. The rate of excellent and good correction,VAS score and comfort were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the com-fort score was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(both P<0.05).After treatment, the excellent and good rate of correction in observation group(96.67%)was higher than that in control group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.043,P<0.05).Conclusion Self-locking bracket class Ⅱ 1 classification malocclusion can significantly improve the rate of excellent and good correction,VAS score and comfort.
