Clinical Efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Decoction Combined with Moist Burn Ointment in the Treatment of Ecthyma and Its Impact on Wound Healing
Objective To study the application value of traditional Chinese medicine decoction combined with moist burn ointment in the treatment of ecthyma.Methods 101 patients with ecthyma from Jiangning Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Nanjing from January 2021 to September 2023 were unrandomly selected as the study objects.They were divided into two groups by difference treatment.The control group with 50 cases were treated with moist burn ointment,and the study group with 51 cases combined with traditional Chinese medicine decoction based on the control group.Clinical efficacy,wound area,degree of pain,and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results The therapeutic effect of the research group was 100%,higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.326,P<0.05).After treatment,the study group had a smaller wound area,lower pain scores,and higher quality of life scores,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of traditional Chinese medicine decoction and moist burn ointment can improve the treatment effect of ec-thyma,promote wound healing,reduce pain,and improve quality of life.
