Comparison of the Efficacy of Propofol Assisted by Fentanyl and Sufent-anil in Painless Gastroscopy in Female Patients
Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of fentanyl combined with propofol and sufentanil combined with propofol in painless gastroscopy anesthesia for female patients. Methods A total of 180 women who underwent painless gastroscopy examination at Tongzhou District People's Hospital in Nantong City from January 2023 to March 2024 were non-randomly selected as the study objects. They were divided into an observation group(fentanyl+propo-fol)and a control group(sufentanil+propofol)according to different anesthesia method, with 90 cases in each group. The anesthesia effects, various vital signs at different time points, and incidence of postoperative adverse reactions be-tween two groups of patients were compared. Results The success rate of first anesthesia induction in the observation group was 100.00%,while in the control group was 94.44%,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(χ2=3.291,P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the time to fall asleep, wake up,and muscle strength recovery, propofol dosage, and overall restlessness between the two groups(all P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and mean arterial pressure at T0 and T3 time points between the two groups(all P>0.05).However,at time points T1 and T2,the average arterial pressure in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of respiratory depression, bradycardia, and choking cough between the two groups(all P>0.05).The incidence of nausea and vomiting, hypotension in the ob-servation group were lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion In painless gastroscopy anesthesia, compared with sufentanil, the inhibitory effect of fentanyl com-bined with propofol intravenous anesthesia on circulation is less, and the probability of postoperative hypotension and nausea and vomiting is also lower. The overall safety is higher.
