The Diagnostic Value of Combined Detection of β2-MG,Hcy and Urinary Kim-1 in Hypertensive Nephropathy
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of combined serum β2 microglobulin(β2-MG),homocysteine(Hcy),and kidney injury molecule 1(Kim-1)tests in patients with hypertensive nephropathy. Methods A total of 53 patients with hypertensive nephropathy admitted to Suining County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from Janu-ary 2020 to December 2022 were non-randomly selected as Group A,53 patients without hypertensive nephropathy during the same period were selected as Group B,and 52 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations during the same period were selected as Group C.β2-MG,Hcy,and urine Kim-1 tests were performed on all 3 groups of patients, and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were plotted to explore the diagnostic efficacy of the combined detection of the above three indicators. Results β2-MG(14.53±2.17)mg/L,Hcy(27.25±5.61)µmol/L,and urine Kim-1(5.68±0.76)ng/L in Group A were higher than those in Group B(7.53±1.24)mg/L,(19.87±4.85)µmol/L,(2.65±0.50)ng/L,and Group C(2.20±0.51)mg/L,(11.20±1.87)µmol/L,and(0.48±0.09)ng/mL.The differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Through ROC analysis, the area under curve(AUC)of the combined detection of β2-MG,Hcy,and urine Kim-1 was 0.873.Conclusion When diagnosing hypertensive nephropathy patients, the com-bined detection of β2-MG,Hcy,and urine Kim-1 has high diagnostic value and can provide reliable basis for subse-quent clinical treatment.
