Clinical Evaluation of Percutaneous Vertebroplasty for the Treatment of Old Unstable Osteoporotic Spinal Fractures
Objective To study and analyze the clinical efficacy and application value of percutaneous vertebroplasty for the treatment of old unstable osteoporotic spinal fractures. Methods From January to December 2022,80 patients with old unstable osteoporotic spinal fractures from the People's Hospital of Gaomi City were non-randomly selected. They were divided into two groups according to different methods, with the reference group receiving percutaneous ky-phoplasty and the observation group receiving percutaneous kyphoplasty. The treatment effects of diseases between groups were analyzed. Results After percutaneous vertebroplasty, the incidence rate of postoperative complications in the observation group was 7.50%,lower than 27.50%in the reference group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.541,P<0.05).The physical function, surgical index and postoperative recovery index of the observation group were better than those in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Pa-tients with old and unstable osteoporotic spinal fractures are treated with percutaneous vertebroplasty. After treatment, the patient's physical function can be significantly restored, and the surgery has high safety.
