Effect of Recombinant Bovine Alkaline Fibroblast Growth Factor Eye Gel Combined with Tobramycin Dexamethasone Eye Drops on Tear Film Rup-ture Time in Dry Eye Patients after Cataract Surgery
Objective To analyze the effect of recombinant bovine alkaline fibroblast growth factor eye gel combined with tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops on tear film rupture time in patients with dry eye after cataract surgery.Methods A total of 84 cases with dry eye patients after cataract surgery in Nanjing Medical University Eye Hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were objectively selected,they were divided into two groups by difference treatment,with 42 cases,the reference group received recombinant bovine alkaline fibroblast growth factor eye gel treatment,the study group added tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops treatment.Compare the ocular symptoms,tear film stability,and inflammatory factor levels before and 1 month after treatment,and calculate the incidence of adverse effects in the two groups.Results After treatment,the scores of OSFI and CFS were 18.17±5.52 and 0.77±0.27 in the study group,lower than 24.73±6.62,and 1.38±0.25 in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=4.932,10.744,both P<0.05).After treatment,the tear film stability indexes in the study group were better than those in the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After treatment,the serum levels of inter-leukin-1 β,interleukin-6,and TNF-α in the study group were lower than those in the reference group,the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the overall inci-dence of redness,conjunctival congestion,pruritus,and headache between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The patients with dry eye after cataract operation were treated with recombinant bovine alkaline fibroblast growth factor eye gel combined with tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops with cataract can improve the tear film rupture time,alle-viate dry eye symptoms,relieve inflammation,and have certain safety.
