Clinical Efficacy of Xuesaitong Combined with Somatostatin in the Treat-ment of Acute Pancreatitis
Objective To explore the clinical effect of Xuesaitong combined with somatostatin in the treatment of acute pancreatitis.Methods Sixty patients with acute pancreatitis admitted to Dantu District People's Hospital of Zhenjiang,Jiangsu Province from January 2021 to June 2023 were non-randomly selected as the study subjects,and were divided into control group(treated with somatostatin)and observation group(treated with Xuesaitong combined with somatostatin)according to different treatment modalities,with 30 cases in each group.The clinical efficacy,in-flammatory factor levels,blood amylase and urine amylase,and recovery of the disease were compared between the two groups.Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%,which was higher than that of the control group(73.33%),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.320,P<0.05).The levels of serum in-flammatory factors,blood amylase and urine amylase in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The abdominal pain,the time of abdominal pain relief and the days of hospitalization in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the inci-dence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The overall effect of Xuesaitong(lyophilized)combined with somatostatin for injection is more ideal,which is beneficial to control the inflammatory response of pa-tients,reduce the levels of blood amylase and urine amylase,relieve the symptoms of abdominal pain,shorten the length of hospital stay,and is safe and reliable.
