Clinical Study on Surgical Treatment of Massive Cerebral Infarction Caused by Craniocerebral Injury
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of surgical treatment on patients with massive cerebral infarc-tion caused by craniocerebral injury. Methods A total of 82 patients with massive cerebral infarction caused by cranio-cerebral injury admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University from March 2019 to August 2023 were non-randomly selected as the study objects. The patients were divided into two groups according to different treatment modalities, with 41 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with conservative therapy, while the study group was treated with surgical therapy. The clinical indexes of the two groups were compared.Re-sults The total incidence of complications in the study group(2.44%)was lower than that in the reference group(19.51%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.493,P<0.05).After treatment, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score of the study group was lower than that of the reference group, and the Glasgow Coma score was higher than that of the reference group, the difference were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion During the treatment of patients with large-scale cerebral infarction caused by traumatic brain injury,it can improve their consciousness state, neurological deficits, and reduce the incidence of complications in clinical practice.
