The Effect of Ambroxol Hydrochloride Lavage under Fiberoptic Bronchos-copy on Myocardial Enzyme Spectrum,CRP,and PCT Levels in Children with Severe Pneumonia
Objective To investigate the effects of ambroxol hydrochloride lavage under fiberoptic bronchoscopy on myocardial enzyme spectrum,CRP,and PCT levels in children with severe pneumonia.Methods Fifty children with severe pneumonia admitted to Yunfu Maternal and Child Health Hospital from May 2021 to December 2023 were non-randomly selected as the study objects,and were divided into routine group and observation group according to differ-ent treatment modalities,with 25 cases in each group.Both groups were given routine treatment for severe pneumonia.The observation group was given additional irrigation with ambroxol hydrochloride under bronchoscope,and the con-ventional group was given irrigation with normal saline.Respectively before and after 7 d treatment determination with myocardial enzyme spectrum[creatine kinase(CK),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)]and c-reactive protein(CRP),procalcitonin(PCT),and record the symptoms improve the situation.Results CK(32.72±8.51)U/L,AST(31.49±4.71)U/L,CK-MB(32.35.±6.36)U/L,PCT(3.97±0.82)µg/L,CRP(15.44±4.61)mg/L in observation group were lower than those in conventional group,the differences were statistically significant(t=3.142,4.946,4.089,4.945,4.856,all P<0.05).The disappearance time of lung moist rales,fever remission time and daily cough times in observation group were less than those in conventional group,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of children with severe pneumonia with ambroxol hydrochlo-ride under bronchoscopy can reduce the levels of myocardial enzyme spectrum,C-reactive protein and calcitonin,and accelerate the recovery process of children.
