Clinical Efficacy Evaluation of Protein Succinate Iron Oral Solution in the Treatment of Iron Deficiency Anemia During Pregnancy
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of protein succinate iron oral solution as an adjuvant therapy for pa-tients with iron deficiency anemia during pregnancy. Methods 80 pregnant women with iron deficiency anemia admit-ted to Beijing Yanhua Hospital from July 2022 to July 2023.All study subjects were divided by treatment methods, with 40 cases in the reference group and 40 cases in the observation group. The reference group received oral treat-ment with vitamin C tablets and ferrous succinate tablets, and observation group received oral treatment with vitamin C tablets and protein iron succinate oral solution. The treatment effects, biochemical indicators, iron metabolism indi-cators,and adverse reactions between the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.00%,higher than the reference group with 75.00%,the difference was statistically sig-nificant(χ2=6.274,P<0.05).The hemoglobin, red blood cell count, average red blood cell volume, serum iron, serum ferritin, and transferrin saturation levels in both groups increased after one month of treatment, and the observation group was higher than the reference group, the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was statisti-cally significant in comparison of adverse reaction rates between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion When supplement-ing iron therapy for pregnant women with iron deficiency anemia during pregnancy, supplementing with oral protein succinate iron solution can effectively improve the patient's blood biochemical indicators and iron metabolism, with high effectiveness and safety, which can provide clinical reference.
