Comparison of Clinical Effects of Carboprost Tromethamine and Oxytocin in Uterine Myomectomy During Cesarean Section
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of carboprost tromethamine and oxytocin in cesarean section and myomectomy. Methods A total of 70 patients admitted to the First People's Hospital of Tianshui City from November 2021 to November 2023 who underwent cesarean section with simultaneous uterine myomectomy were non-randomy selected. They were divided into two groups according to the intraoperative use of different drugs, each 35 cases. The study group used carboprost tromethamine and the reference group used oxytocin.Surgical time, intraoperative and postoperative bleeding and adverse effects were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the operative time between the two groups(P>0.05).Intraoperative bleeding(253.45±90.63)mL and postoperative bleeding(104.36±50.75)mL in the study group were significantly less than intraoperative bleed-ing(379.81±110.57)mL and postoperative bleeding(148.92±61.83)mL in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.229,3.296,both P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of carbo-prost tromethamine significantly reduces intraoperative and postoperative bleeding with fewer adverse effects when performing cesarean section with simultaneous myomectomy.
