Research Progress in Screening and Immunoprophylactic Treatment of La-tent Tuberculosis Infections
At the present stage,there were many limiting factors in the screening of Mycobacterium tuberculosis(MTB)latent infection and immunoprophylaxis,and the results were still insufficient.These factors would have a cer-tain impact on the prevention and control of tuberculosis.However,screening methods with higher sensitivity and specificity,as well as efficient and lasting immune prevention vaccines and simplified drug treatment schemes are in the stage of development and observation,which have become the research focus of tuberculosis prevention and con-trol,and also bring more hope to people with latent infection of MTB.This article reviews the screening status of latent infection of MTB and the research results of immune prevention,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of various screening methods,as well as the latest research and development trends of prevention and treatment,in order to clarify the progress of prevention and control of this group,and provide some reference for the screening and treatment of tuberculosis in basic hospitals.
