Analysis of the Efficacy and Safety of Ultrasound Intervention in the Treat-ment of Bacterial Liver Abscess
Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of ultrasonic interventional treatment of bacterial liver ab-scess.Methods Clinical data of 80 patients with bacterial liver abscess in Nantong Ruici Hospital from January 2019 to January 2024 were retrospectively selected, and they were divided into control group and study group according to different treatment regimens, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received conventional treatment, and the study group received ultrasound interventional therapy. The length of hospital stay, symptom improvement time,com-plication rate and treatment effectiveness were compared between the two groups. Results The hospital stay and symp-tom improvement time of the patients with bacterial liver abscess in the study group were shorter than those in the con-trol group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The improvement of inflammation indexes in the study group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The complication rate of the study group was 7.50%(3/40),which was lower than 25.00%(10/40)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.501,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in treat-ment effectiveness between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion In the clinical treatment of bacterial liver abscess, the effect of ultrasound interventional therapy can be guaranteed, and the incidence of complications is low.
