Comparison of Clinical Efficacy of Different Administration Modes of Glu-cocorticoids in Patients with Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective To analyze the effect of differences administration mode of glucocorticoid in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods 70 patients with AECOPD who re-ceived treatment in Pizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2021 to May 2023 were objectively se-lected and divideded into two groups different adminisstrain modes.35 patients receiving oral glucocorticoids were in the oral group and 35 patients receiving intravenous glucocorticoids were in the intravenous drip group.Compare the therapeutic effect, prognostic index, lung function and adverse reactions between the two groups. Results The total ef-fective rate of intravenous drip group was slightly higher than that of oral group, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in prognostic indexes between the two groups be-fore and after treatment(all P>0.05).Before and modes treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in forced vital capacity, maximum peak respiratory flow rate, forced expiratory volume in one second between intravenous drip group and oral group(all P>0.05).The oral group's incidence of adverse reactions was 5.71%(2/35),lower than 22.86%(8/35)in the intravenous group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.200,P<0.05).Conclusion Both oral and intravenous administration of glucocorticoids can play a good role in improving lung function and prog-nosis of patients with AECOPD,but compared with the two,the effect of intravenous administration is better, and oral administration is safer.
