The Therapeutic Effect of Argon Knife Combined with Metal Titanium Clip under Gastroscopy for Gastric Ulcer with Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding
Objective To investigate the effect of gastroscopic argon knife combined with metal titanium clips in the treatment of gastric ulcer with upper gastrointestinal bleeding.Methods Seventy-six patients with gastric ulcer with upper gastrointestinal bleeding in Dongping County People's Hospital were non-randomly selected as study subjects from March 2020 to October 2023,and were divided into two groups according to different treatment methods.Thirty-eight patients in the observation group received gastroscopic argon knife combined with metal titanium clip treatment,and 38 patients in the control group received conventional treatment.The two groups were compared in terms of clini-cal related indexes,gastric function indexes,hemostasis and the occurrence of adverse reactions.Results The com-plete hemostasis,disappearance of blood in stool and hospitalization time of patients in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the levels of gastrin-17 and pepsinogen I in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The rate of re-bleeding after treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the rate of effective he-mostasis was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The total incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group was 2.63%(1/38),lower with 23.68%(9/38)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.370,P<0.05).Conclusion The use of a gastro-scopic argon knife combined with a metal titanium clip protocol for the treatment of patients with gastric ulcers with upper gastrointestinal bleeding has resulted in a higher rate of effective hemostasis,improves gastric function,and helps to reduce the incidence of post-treatment adverse reactions.
