Effects of Thoracic Laparoscopy on Inflammatory Factors,Lung Function and Prognosis of Patients Undergoing Radical Aurgery for Oesophageal Cancer
Objective To explore the effect of laparoscopy surgery in the treatment of esophageal cancer patients. Methods 86 esophageal cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment at Yangzhou Hongquan Hospital from Janu-ary 2020 to December 2023 were randomly selected and divided into different groups based on surgical methods, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received traditional thoracotomy, and the observation group received laparo-scopic thoracic surgery.Surgical indexes, inflammatory factors, lung function, complications and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results The surgical indexes, inflammatory factors and lung function in the obser-vation group were better than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The complication rate of the observation group was 2.33%(1/43),lower than 16.28%(7/43)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.962,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in recurrence rate be-tween the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic radical resection of esophageal cancer has less trauma, less impact on inflammation and lung function, and a good prognosis.
