Effect of Probiotics on Clinical Efficacy and Immune Function in Children with Atopic Dermatitis
Objective To analyze the effect of probiotic treatment on atopic dermatitis(AD)in children and its impact on immune function. Methods A total of 84 children with AD admitted to Nanjing Gaochun People's Hospital from August 2020 to August 2023 were non-randomly selected as the research objects.According to the treatment methods,42 cases in the control group were treated with symptomatic treatment, and 42 cases in the observation group were treated with probiotics. The clinical efficacy, immune indexes and inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.62%(41/42),higher than 80.95%(34/42)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.480,P<0.05).The immune indexes and in-flammatory factor levels of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Probiotics have significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of chil-dren with AD,which can effectively improve the immune function of children and reduce inflammation.
