Preventive Effect of Misoprostol Combined with Oxytocin in Postpartum Hemorrhage of Cesarean Section
Objective To study the effect of misoprostol combined with oxytocin on preventing postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section. Methods A total of 88 parturients with cesarean section admitted to the Third People's Hospi-tal of Liaocheng City from November 2022 to November 202 were non-randomly selected.According to the treatment methods, they were divided into reference group and treatment group, with 44 cases in each group, and they were treated with oxytocin and misoprostol combined with oxytocin respectively. The clinical efficacy, postpartum hemor-rhage and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was higher than that of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The amount of postpartum hemorrhage in the treatment group was lower than that in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The blood transfusion rate of the treatment group was 0,which was lower than 9.09%(4/44)of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.208,P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was 2.27%(1/44),lower than that in the reference group 18.18%(8/44),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.456,P=0.035).Conclusion The treatment of misoprostol com-bined with oxytocin in cesarean section can reduce the amount of postpartum hemorrhage and blood rate and the inci-dence of adverse reactions, and the treatment effect is obvious.
