Clinical Study of Hyperbaric Oxygen Combined with Compound Metroni-dazole Film in the Treatment of Diabetic Periodontitis
Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of hyperbaric oxygen with compound metronidazole film on diabetic periodontitis.Methods Non-randomLy selected 80 patients with diabetic periodontitis admitted to the Depart-ment of Stomatology,Zibo Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from January 2021 to De-cember 2023 as the research objects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into two groups,40 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with routine treatment.At the same time,the control group was treated with compound metronidazole membrane,while the combined group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen combined with compound metronidazole membrane.The chewing function,periodontal status and treatment efficiency of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the masticatory function and periodontal status of the combined group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treat-ment,the effective rate of the combined group was 100.00%(40/40),which was higher than 80.00%(32/40)of the con-trol group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.806,P<0.05).Conclusion The use of hyperbaric oxy-gen combined with compound metronidazole membrane in the treatment of diabetic periodontitis can improve patients'chewing ability and periodontal health status,so as to enhance the treatment efficiency.
