Effect of Aspirin Combined with Atorvastatin Calcium on Serological In-dexes and Changes of Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque in Patients with Ce-rebral Infarction
Objective To explore the effect of aspirin(APC)combined with atorvastatin calcium on patients with cere-bral infarction(CI).Methods A total of 98 CI patients admitted to Liaocheng Eye Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into control group(n=49,APC enteric-coated tablet treat-ment)and observation group(n=49,APC combined with atorvastatin calcium treatment)according to different treat-ment methods. The two groups were treated for 4 weeks continuously.Serological indexes, changes of carotid athero-sclerotic plaques, inflammatory reactions and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, serum homocysteine(9.39±1.41)μmol/L,neuron-specific enolase(19.66±2.15)IU/L and uric acid(231.06±10.44)μmol/L in observation group were lower than(15.22±2.13)μmol/L and(25.59±2.91)IU/L in control group,(314.84±12.88)μmol/L,the differences were statistically significant(t=15.976,11.473,35.372,all P<0.05).After treatment, the intima-media thickness, plaque thickness and plaque area of the common carotid artery in the ob-servation group were lower than those in the control group, and the interleukin-6,tumor necrosis factor-α and C-reactive protein were lower than those in the control group, the difference were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclu-sion APC combined with atorvastatin calcium can improve the serological indexes and the changes of carotid athero-sclerotic plaque in patients with CI,reduce the inflammatory response, with fewer adverse reactions.
