Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Using Low-level Small-incision Thyroid Surgery for Benign Thyroid Nodules
Objective To investigate the total effective rate of low incision thyroid surgery in the treatment of benign thyroid nodule disease. Methods One hundred and eighty patients with benign thyroid nodules treated in the Third People's Hospital of Jining,Shandong Province from January to December 2022 were non-randomly selected as the study objects and divided into two groups with ninety cases each according to different surgical methods. The control group was treated with conventional incision, while the study group was treated with low incision. The level of T lym-phocyte subsets, surgical indexes and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The level of T lymphocyte subsets in the study group was better than that in the reference group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The surgery related indexes of the study group were better than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was 3.33% (3/90),higher than 15.56% (14/90)in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.860,P<0.05).Conclusion Low incision thyroid surgery can improve the treatment effect of benign thyroid nod-ule,improve the immune function of patients, and reduce the risk of complications.
