Application of Peripheral Nerve Block in Elderly Patients with Hip Frac-ture
Objective To analyze the effect of combined lumbar composite anesthesia and peripheral nerve block in elderly patients with hip fracture. Methods A total of one hundred and twenty elderly patients with hip fracture admit-ted to the Red Star Hospital of the 13th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps from January 2021 to January 2023 were non-randomly selected as the study objects, all of whom were treated by surgical operation and di-vided into two groups with sixty cases each according to different anesthesia methods. The control group was given combined epidural anesthesia and the observation group was given combined epidural anesthesia combined with pe-ripheral hip capsule nerve block. The application effect of the two groups was compared. Results The levels of S100 and β-amyloid 1-40 in the observation group were(94.28±13.23)mg/L and(6.52±0.94)mg/L,respectively,which were lower than those in the control group(130.54±23.89)mg/L and(9.81±1.55)mg/L,respectively,the differences were statistically significant(t=9.044,7.837,both P<0.05).VAS scores of the observation group at 2,4,6 and 12 h af-ter surgery were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Combined with lumbohard anesthesia and peripheral hip capsule nerve block for elderly patients with hip fracture,it can reduce postoperative pain and reduce the damage of the central nervous system.
