Clinical Effect of Intravenous Riboflavin Combined with Intermittent Blue Light Irradiation on Neonatal Jaundice
Objective To explore the clinical effect of intermittent blue light irradiation treatment combined with intra-venous riboflavin treatment in children with neonatal jaundice. Methods A total of 120 cases of neonatal jaundice ad-mitted to the Department of Neonatology,Shuyang Hospital Affiliated to Xuzhou Medical University from January to December 2022 were selected as the study objects by target sampling method. They were divided into a control group and an observation group according to different treatment methods, with 60 cases in each group. All patients under-went multiple intermittent blue light irradiation therapies, and the observation group received combined intravenous ri-boflavin therapy on this basis.Compare clinically relevant indicators, treatment efficacy, and incidence of adverse re-actions between two groups. Results The recovery time of serum bilirubin, duration of jaundice, and total phototherapy time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.33% (59/60),which was higher than the con-trol group's 88.33% (53/60),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.821,P<0.05).The incidence of ad-verse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In addition to multiple intermittent blue light irradiation treatments, the combination of intravenous riboflavin can achieve better results in neonatal jaundice.
